The i-Sense System Status screen displays a live view of the RMS voltage, line
frequency, and current i-Grid communication state. You can also test communications to i-Grid by
triggering a Heartbeat event which connects to the i-Grid servers. There is also details about the
previous connection the i-Sense made to i-Grid.
The i-Sense Ethernet Settings screen allows you to review and change the i-Sense
Ethernet configuration as well as restart the Ethernet subsystem. You can choose DHCP or static IP
address assignment. The Auto-Sensing Ethernet Configuration feature initially attempts DHCP assignment,
if no DHCP server can be found on the network, the monitor configures itself with the current static
IP address settings. Once your networking settings are configured, you can test the connection to the
i-Grid servers on the status page.
Other than the i-Grid Communications Settings, which should always be set to Ethernet,
the i-Sense Modem Settings screen should not be used. Modem communications by the
i-Sense product line are no longer supported.
The i-Sense Monitoring Configuration screen allows you to set the number
of active sensing channels (1-3 or 1-6, depending on model) and nominal voltage.
The i-Sense Security screen allows you to change the credentials (username and
password) for the i-Sense management console. We highly recommend you do not use the default
credentials.
The i-Sense Support screen includes instructions for contacting Rockwell Automation
support as well as important information to expedite the support process. Please include the serial
number with all support requests.
