I-Sense Management Console

The I-Sense Management Console is an on-board, web-based management utility for configuring and verifying status of the I-Sense monitor. You can access the management console for your monitor by typing the IP address of the monitor into the location bar of your web browser. If you don't know the IP address of your I-Sense, you can find it on your local network using the I-Sense Discovery Utility.

	The I-Sense System Status screen displays a live view of the RMS voltage, line frequency, and current I-Grid communication state. You can also trigger a Heartbeat event which forces a connection to the I-Grid servers. The I-Sense Networking Settings screen allows you to review and change the I-Sense Ethernet configuration as well as test the connection to the I-Grid servers. You can choose DHCP or static IP address assignment. The Auto-Sensing Ethernet Configuration feature initially attempts DHCP assignment, if no DHCP server can be found on the network, the monitor configures itself with the current static IP address settings. Once your networking settings are configured, you can test the connection to the I-Grid servers. The I-Sense Modem Settings screen allows you to configure and test the modem dialing settings for connection to the I-Grid servers. Note that the modem only needs to be configured if I-Grid communication is to be done using the modem instead of the Ethernet interface. You can set the dial-up access phone numbers and custom prefix. You can also test each phone number to verify that the I-Sense can connect to the I-Grid servers. The I-Sense Configuration screen allows you to set the number of active sensing channels (1-3 or 1-6, depending on model), nominal voltage, and Management Console username/password. The I-Sense Support screen includes instructions for contacting I-Grid support as well as important information to expedite the support process.
